The goal of the admission process of STEM Magnet Academy of Pointe Coupee is to provide a balanced representation of all students from Pointe Coupee Parish without any racial, gender, or socioeconomic discrimination. 


Admission Requirements

- 2.75 GPA

- Behavior Record Free of Major Infractions 

All students accepted to attend STEM Magnet Academy of Pointe Coupee are expected to remain in good academic and behavioral standing.

About SMA

STEM Magnet Academy of Pointe Coupee currently serves innovators in grades 3rd-12th. Students must have a 2.75 GPA and a clean record of behavior to be considered for admission. 

 

SMA is a specialized learning program that focuses on STEM curriculum. Students enrolled in SMA take a variety of STEM-based courses in order to better prepare them to enter the STEM workforce or advance their learning at a postsecondary level.
