WHAT DO I DO NOW?

If your child is currently enrolled in a Pointe Coupee Public School (Rougon, Rosenwald, Livonia, Valverda, or Upper Pointe Coupee), you only need to ensure your child continues to meet the acceptance criteria (2.75 GPA and clean behavior record). We will review records in late May to ensure all students are still eligible. You will only hear from us if we determine your child is NO LONGER ELIGIBLE. You do not need to submit any registration paperwork.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
If your child is currently enrolled in Valverda, Livonia, Rougon, Rosenwald, or Upper Pointe Coupee, you do NOT need to complete the registration packet or provide any additional documentation. We will get your child's records from his/her current school and contact you in the late summer or early fall if we notice that something is missing. You do not need to complete or submit any additional paperwork to secure your child's spot.

• If your child is NOT enrolled in one of the schools listed above, please submit the following documents immediately to secure your child's spot and finalize his/her registration.  
  • Completed registration packet (Click to download)
  • Copy of Student’s Birth Certificate
  • Copy of Student’s Social Security Card
  • Copy of Student’s Immunization Records
  • Proof of Residency in Pointe Coupee Parish (Utility Bill, Property Tax Bill, Etc.

Uniforms can be purchased at Keys Graphics and Don's Sportsman Shop. We will also open an online uniform shop in the spring.

STAY INFORMED
Since your child will not be officially enrolled in SMA until the fall, you will not receive or text notifications. Therefore, it is crucial that you follow our Facebook page and check your email frequently. We will use the email address submitted with your child's application to contact you.
Our monthly newsletters will contain the most useful information. A newsletter is released at the beginning of each month. You can access newsletters by visiting our website (sma.pcpsb.net).
